Nicki Minaj was freed following her arrest in the Netherlands on suspicion of exporting soft drugs.
Shortly after being taken into custody by Dutch authorities on charges of smuggling soft narcotics, Nicki Minaj was freed from detention on Saturday.
According to a translated post on X shortly before 4 PM ET, the rapper was punished and given permission to “continue her journey,” according to the authorities.
The 41-year-old Minaj, whose true name is Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty, was allegedly arrested while on her “Pink Friday 2 World Tour” and traveling from Amsterdam to Manchester, England for a show. Minaj was scheduled to perform on Saturday night at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, but the event has been postponed, according to a Live Nation UK update.
